Dear Ego, Holding Onto Money Won’t Grow My Business...

Letter No. 005

Dear Ego,

You tell me to wait until we have more money. More proof. More certainty.

You say things like:

📌 “What if it doesn’t work?”

📌 “What if it’s too expensive?”

📌 “Let’s just hold off a little longer.”

But I see through you.

You don’t want to be smart with money. You want to hold onto it out of fear.

The biggest risk? Doing nothing. If I want to grow, I have to bet on myself, my team, and my business.

So today? I stop hesitating.

Today, I invest in the future instead of fearing it.

We’re moving forward.

I got this.

- Me.

The Hard Truth

Not investing is a decision. A decision to stay exactly where you are.

The companies that grow are the ones that risk, reinvest, and bet on themselves.

CEO Action Challenge

• Invest in one thing today. A hire, a system, a tool—something that moves the business forward.

• Shift your mindset: Instead of “It’s expensive,” ask, “What’s the cost of NOT doing this?”

• Play long-term. Growth doesn’t happen from saving—it happens from strategic investment.

One Brutal Question

If money wasn’t an issue, what’s the first thing you would invest in? Why aren’t you doing it?

Final Close

Every dollar you hold in fear is a dollar that won’t grow.

You say you want to scale. Prove it.

Until Next Time Founders
